Spoon Keychains
I created the spoon keychains as reminders to pray for those trapped in sex trafficking.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me To bring good news to the humble and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted, To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives. And freedom to prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1 (AMP)
When I was living in Australia, I learned that sometimes trafficked victims put a spoon in their underwear when they are in the airport so they’ll set off the metal detectors. When the metal detectors go off they then have a chance to tell TSA that they are being trafficked.
I can’t imagine being so desperate that I willingly put a spoon in my underwear. I can’t imagine the terror and adrenaline pumping through the victims. Then there’s the whole question of trusting the authorities. With that being said, I created the spoon keychains as reminders to pray for those trapped in sex trafficking.
